Riportiamo le parole di Noam Chomsky in "Requiem for the American Dream" riguardo al potere che ha la massa nel corso degli eventi storici. Sì la massa, la massa così bistrattata dalla società delle elite ma anche dalla massa stessa che si sottovaluta e si rende ancor più debole di quello che è attualmente per mancanza di educazione e ancora peggio di desiderio di educazione.
"About 70 of population has no way of influencing policy and the population knows it.
What it’s led to is a
population that is angry frustrated, hates institutions. It’s not acting
constructively to try to respond to this.
There is popular mobilization and activism but in very self
destrunctive directions.
It’s taking the form of unfocused anger attacks on one
another and on vulnerable targets, that’s what appen in cases like this.
It is corrosive of social relations but that’s the point. The
point is to make people hate and fear each other and look out only for themselves, don’t do anything
for anyone else".
Queste parole sono sempre tratte dallo stesso documentario ma parafrasate dalle parole di un altro grande pensatore del nostro tempo Howard Zinn:
"What matter is the countless small deeds of unknown people
who lay the basis for the significant event that enter history they’re the ones
who have done thing in the past they’re the one who will do thing in the future".
Vogliamo menti pronte sveglie informate. Il Vero Potere teme questo tipo di massa ma ad oggi stanno vincendo loro perchè attraverso pubblicità e prodotti di consumo stanno uccidendo la nostra libertà di pensiero o meglio la stanno lentamente anestetizzando, atrofizzando il nostro giudizio.
